Weekend Wrap-Up

Donald Fagen- Live at Chicago Theatre. Steely Dan songwriter. Concert lasted only an hour and a half. I paid good money for these tickets, damnit! I loved every moment of this show, but, come on. Fagen practically ran out of the theatre after a pathetic 2 minute encore. Did he have reservations at Tru or something?

Sita Ram (**1/2)- musical at the looking glass. A little too Disney for me, but the singing/music was pretty good.

Ask the Dust (**)- I was expecting much more from the writer of Chinatown.

The Holy Mountain (***) (rental)- 1973 Jodorowsky surrealist film.

New Blog

It's a new year and time for a new blog. I'm really busy right now (working + job searching) so I won't be resuming my rapid posting habits of yesteryear. I'm really just going to list out the movies/concerts etc. I see throughout the year as a sort of diary.
